Jonathan:
Add a little yeast, malt and barley and you will be onto a fine recipe!
Dextrose is glucose, the sugar used in Gatorade (and many other sport drinks). You will also need to add potasium chloride and sodium chloride. You will have to get the mixture percentages correct to keep from over shooting or under shooting on the amount of each ingredient. Too much or not enough of any of those ingredients can cause havoc on your gut and your fluid system in your body. I am not versed in telling you how much of each you should throw in, I'll leave to the science guys to figure that out. Now if you ever need a killer cookie recipe, I am versed in that.
