left foot gos too sleep mostly first 3 toes on long ride but its always the left foot went bigger shoes helped some but still a problem can u help
i thought about spacing my toes apart with cotton the next time iride
thanks for any help u have for me

As the pain is located only on the left foot, there is likely a problem with either the nerves between the bones on that foot or some anatomy variation in the bones that cause compression to the nerves. See a podiatrist to have your foot evaluated. If it is an anatomy/allignment issue, you may benefit from a custom orthotic. If you have problems with the nerves, specifically Morton's Neuroma, you may benefit from a surgical procedure to remove the over grown fibrous material that causes the Morton's Neuroma.

Is this just during race's or on all your rides.
Just from what I experienced this year all of my toes go numb, it's not painful. It's just from the cold air.
Maybe try putting some ducttape over the top to keep them warmer might help.
Or try thinner socks. You are wearing riding socks with your riding shoes? |
