Hey Doc,
At the Bryan race I crashed and twisted/pulled my knee as my cleat failed to come loose. I immediately noticed a kinda of thick feeling in the joint. It seemed stable enough when I stood up, but by the end of the race the inside (interior side?) was very painful throughout the entire pedal stroke and whole joint swelled up. A couple of hours afterwards I could hardly move it in any direction. I went to see a dr and he told me it was just a sprain. Well how long are these things supposed to take to heal? I can ride my bike OK, but doing anything else that requires lateral movement like tennis of soccer has me on the ground from shooting pain in the joint. Should I go and get a second opinion? |

Chain Whipp:
See the below post on MCL injury http://64.177.85.6/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=4653 as I suspect that is what you have. Get an evaluation by an orthopedic doctor and a physical therapist.
