I had a small crash that resulted in a slight concussion. I was out maybe 30-60 seconds.

I have had no residual headaches, but did have a little tunnel vision etc for a day or so.

When will it be safe to I ride my bike? Is there anything else to worry about?

I did receive medical help and later had a cat scan.

Jordan:

Lay off the bike for at least two weeks. The problem with a concussion, you are more prone to repeat concussion if you take another header in close proximity to the the prior concussion. There is a syndrome called repetive concussion syndrome. It is often incurred by athletes who get back into the game to soon and can lead to early retirement, brain damage or even death. I hope for your speedy recovery, just don't make it too speedy.

Thanks,

Yeah, what he said.

...and, from this time forth you should reduce your riding speed by 2mph.

You're welcome!

Thanks doc. I didn't think I could get any Mojo working for the next race any way.

Funny you talk about repetative. I rode shotgun all the way hom from Terlingua staring at an illustration of an airbag blowing into someone's face. i moved the seat way back. Weird little fears we all have.
