|
|
A week ago while riding my bike up some hills, I felt a sharp pain in the back of my knee, in the middle of the kneepit..
I took four days off and went hiking and it was fine. But last night after riding again, the pain came back during the ride and hurts when I extend my leg from a bent position from sitting. I'm taking Ibuprofen and resting it for a while.
Any ideas? |

With the pain in the back of the knee and the sudden onset of sharp pain when you were riding up some hills, I would be conscerned that you may have torn a tendon or a ligament to the back of the knee. You should seek an evaluation by your doctor or an Orthopedic doctor. You may also benefit form a Physical Therapist evalaution.

i could be just that your not on your bike the way you should be. or if you ride with clips. It could be that you shoes are not in the right place. I think you will need to get a bike fit. To see were you are when ridding. Bicycle sport shop has alot of people to help you with that and they know what there doing. |
