Country Bulldog:
Do heed your doctor's advise on recovery time and activity progression. You don't want to risk causing complications to your healing. Do visit with your doctor about when you can get back on a stationary bike. He may let you do this sooner than when the doctor will clear you for riding your regular bike on the road or trail. You are likely considering a full face helmet now. I ride with one when on my mountain bike and also on my motorcycle. I hope for your speedy recovery. _________________ Paul K. Nolan, MD
