Just a few weeks away now, think of Blazing Saddles as a warmup/fitness indicator for your Texas Cup season ahead. Come on down!

Greg will have Rocky burgers available during and after the race. Brian will have the course marked by this weekend, should be around 8ish miles, and Greg will go back over and put out reflective markers on it.

Course is marked for Pre-riding. Only a few turns are not marked with Orange ribbon around Bottle in front of me. Follow the red reflective arrows on the 24 hour course. Don't take the 6 mile bail out, keep going to the bail out in LongHorn loop that is marked.

8.8 miles
700 feet of elevation
Lap times around 50 minutes +/- some.

Black trac and the Grind were taken out due to some trail work needed and trying to keep average lap times around 45-60 minutes.

Tobin and Jen are coming to RHR straight from Colorado just for this race! (well, really because their vacation is over) Riding at RHR, burgers, for a good cause, all the right elements, please come share your Saturday evening with us.

Is this at 5 or 6? Post says 5, USAC says 5, but Bikereg says 6.

It is 5...sorry about the Bikereg mistake. Our rationale is that hot is hot, and starting an hour earlier will have us finished an hour earlier, and day/night laps should be more equal.

These sites have the wrong time, too:

http://www.rockyhillranch.com/
http://www.blazingsaddlestexas.com/

Might want to send an update to the pre-reg bunch. Thanks!

I sent an email, thanks for the suggestion. The "entry form" part of BikeReg always showed 5:00PM but the Registration page text said 6:00PM, my mistake since I copied the Warda event first as my template.
I'm pretty sure most people know it's 5, keeping fingers crossed.

BikeReg still says 6pm on half the page so you guys may want to update that one if possible. Looking forward to seeing everyone out there.

Pretty sure Tobin will post up the results here in the next few days.

Big thanks to all who came out, my apologies for mixing up the start time on various sites, our compromise start at 5:30 seemed to work out all right.
Big props to Tobin and Jennifer for coming straight from their Colorado summer to help out gratis for the cause. Thanks to Brian Grubbs for setting up and marking the course, and to ranch manager Greg Maxwell and his family for making some last minute repairs and tree removal.
Thanks to the members of my team, Phil, Emmaline, Mike, Jim, John, and Jamie for helping with scoring and course marshalling. Some of Greg's kids also sat in at the scoring table for awhile, and of course Greg was keeping the grill hot all night for Rocky Burgers.
Waiting on one more bill to be tallied, but pretty sure we raised close to $700 for the Lupus Foundation, maybe more as Greg told me people were giving him $20 bills for $5 hamburgers and telling him to keep the change. Many people took their payout envelopes and then handed them right back too, very generous.
Greg's daughter will get to present a check at her teenage Lupus support group meeting, I'll be sure to post up the final tally. Thanks for coming out.
