Yes folks, it is true: The BRC is only 6 weeks away! This late change was due to a conflict with our original date of 4/28 (the MS150) and the February date opened up. So, Carpe Diem. Its awn.

We'll keep things simple and use the exact same course from Nov 2017 - everyone seemed to like that, and it also makes our permitting easier. We'll keep you posted, you keep that date in your calendar. It is great to have the BRC so early in the season - give all us swamp dwellers a chance to get a jump on all the rock dodgers from out west!

Course is marked for pre-riding - look for the red "BRC" signs. It is exactly the same course as we used last November - fast and furious fun. The map is posted on the event page on FB..... https://www.facebook.com/events/1575265802558204/

For up to date trail conditions, go to the DLMTB page - https://www.facebook.com/groups/1396776583937491/

Course is in great shape. We're getting a lot of wet conditions, but people seem to be riding most days without any issues - it drains well. Just check the FB page before you head up there - we want wheels on the course to keep the hogs at bay, but we don't want you to damage by riding when it's too wet.

Everything is lining up nicely - Forest Service permit is issued, and we've got all the other bits and bobs sorted out (food truck, porta cans, etc). We're ready to rock and roll and break a new record for BRC turnout!

See ya there!

$15 per person? Or $15 covers a group spot?

Hi Helmut,

$15 does not cover a group spot. Group spots normally cost $170 for the entire weekend. You may camp as an individual sharing in a designated group spot with other individuals for $15, which can be paid onsite to GHORBA Saturday.

If you are bringing a big group please contact racing@ghorba.org .
