Hi Doc Nolan,

Did you see the big article in the Austin American Stateman about your recent 12-hr race? I think it covered half of the front page and 1/3 of the back page of the life style's section. I'll save my copy for you just in case you didn't get your own.

I PM'ed you with an update on the elbow tendonitis - gonna go see an orthopedic doc in a few days. I've got a feeliing that it's a bit too far gone for non-surgery options ... we'll see. I want to get it fixed such that I'm back in the photo business and back to serious riding by mid-August.

Guest:

Do save the article we would love a copy at the ranch. We do not take the Statesmen.

Thanks for the info, your PM never came through. I hope for your recovery.

Thanks,

Hi Doc,
It's me again - I was logged in as Guest because I've just done a DNC on my home computer - started with a hard drive upgrade and ended with a full re-installation of everything, included the OS. I usually auto-log into TMBRA, but with a purge and re-install, the cookies went bye-bye, thus no more auto-log-in yet. I'll drop the article in the mail for you.

Hmmmmmm ... I just searched hi and lo for the PM that I sent - here and on Mojo. I can't find it. You had asked about an update on my elbow tendinitis (?sp?) that I posted some questions on. Bottom line - even with reduced activity, it's gotten worse - to the point where I can't bend my arm straight without discomfort, and I can't really tolerate lifting of any weight when my arm is extended. Over the past several months, and hard knot/lump has formed over the most sensitive area - maybe some sort of calcification build-up. I made an appointment with an orthopedic Dr. here in Austin for Thursday morning. I decided to try to expedite a solution so that the healing will be done by this Fall (start of football season at the high schools and the fall TMBRA series - gotta be ready to swing the big lens into photo action Smile I've got a feeling that there is some surgery in the cards .... oh well, as long as they knock me out before they pull the big needles out of the tool bag .. Laughing

Digimon:

I was able to snarf a copy of the 12 Hours of Dirt article from the Austin American Statesmen web site. Thanks for the heads up on it. Thanks for all the great pictures of the races you have provided TMBRA.

I hope for your speedy recovery for your elbow.
Thanks,
