When riding my mountain bike.... about 8 to 10 minutes into the ride.... I will get some numbness in either or both feet.
Is this a saddle issue or my shoes????
I ride with flats and my shoes are womens 5-10's.... they are not tight, nor too loose.
I can get some relief when I take time to stand to pedal or when riding.
Thanks

I would think the problem is more in the feet. Do your shoes have firm soles? Tennis shoes or running shoes are not ideal for bicycling even if you ride without clipin pedals and ride with conventional flat pedals. Look at getting some firm soled bike specific shoes. Even if you do not choose to go with clipin pedals, the firm soles will help prevent undue pressure on the bottom of your feet. Look at how you pedal. If you pedal with the arch of your foot centered on the pedal, you are putting alot of pressure on an area of the foot that was not designed to carry pressure. Ride on the balls of your feet, the thick callused part of the front of the foot, not the heals.

Thanks,
