|Let's start with the positives and a big Thank You for a new race venue in the TMBRA Fall Series. The weather was nice, the course was good and it is always a pleasure to spend time with all of our racing friends.
There are always growing pains for a new venue / new event so my comments are not meant to be blanket complaints but to identify areas for focus for next years San Angelo race (hopefully).
Race Flyer - Generally Events have a separate flyer that provides additional info for the race event. Driving Directions (i.e. South Entrance). Course lengths, start times, and additional information on the event.
Course Marking - Course markings were a bit confusing especially for Junior racers. Other courses provide signage with arrows (i.e. 12U, 10U, CAT3, CAT2, CAT1).
Race Starts Times - This was a major issue across the board. I would suggest asking other race venues / race directors how the handle start times and staggers.
Copy, Copy, Copy - I would suggest who ever coordinates the San Angelo race attend a couple of the other Fall Series and copy as much as they can from the other venues.
Always good to end on a positive... The FREE Hamburgers were awesome and we look forward to a better run event in the Fall of 2019.
