Hi Paul, here's my ?. I had my worst race in 2 years Sun. at Brok. Oak., went from 1st to 5th in one lap. Didn't go out too hard, just no energy after 1 lap. the only diff. in this weekend was i didn't get to sleep until 5:30 am Sun., got up at 7 to eat etc.. it was too muggy & hot in the tent to sleep (for me). all other factors being the same, previous training, diet, was this lack of sleep possibly a major factor in me sucking, or a minor factor, & i just had a badd day ??? thanks for the help, hope all is going well with you & your family.. capnmwf (aka Michael Floores) |

Capnmwf:
In a word: Yes. Your sleep deprivation could have been a major factor. The heat could also have been a major factor, this race being one of the hotest one of the series. Another possibility is your competition has just gotten so much better in the last month that you got the proverbial ars kicking...
