Dear Bike Doc,
I got a cut on my knee from the past Sunday ride, parts of it is still red and oozing yellow stuff. Do you think I have an infection on the cut? I fall again today and reopen the cut.

Thank you

begin ing:

Redness can be a sign of infection. Cleanse the wound twice a day in warm water and an antibacterial soap. Apply an antibiotic ointment such as tripple antibiotic or corona ointment provided you are not allergic to any of the components. If there is increasing redness, swelling, increasing pain and/or pus drainage seek immediate medical attention.

Thanks,
