Hey Doc,
I was freeriding about two weeks ago when I tried to do a wheely down into a ditch. Unfortuneatly, the bike flipped out from under me and I landed on my left hip, my arm and my head. Luckily, I was wearing a helmet and didn't suffer any brain damage.
Anyway, What I remember most is an extremely sharp pain in my left arm. I had a friend who was also riding help me to a near by Burger King where I realized there was an extremely large bruise on the left/underside of my left arm and I had a hard time lifting it for about 2 days afterward. The bruises started to go away and my wounds started to heal, but everytime I touch a certain area 3 inches from my elbow, it hurts mildly and has so for about the last week. The same goes for the bone in the elbow that connects the lower part of the arm to higher part of the arm (Sorry, I'm not very fluent in doctor speak). I still have trouble extending it all the way and it hurts preety bad when I ly down on it.
Thats for the time, sorry to write so much,

TBrown:
Ouch that hurts! Your persisting pain and tenderness to pressure certainly could indicate you may have a fracture. You would not be the first off road warrior to go around with a broken bone for a week or two. Do get an evaluation and X-ray studies by a physician muy pronto.
