I have never ridden Cameron and probably wont until race day. What is the typical lap distance for this venue? I can see past results but no info on distance.
Hi Robert, I’m not exactly sure what the distance is. My guess would be 8 to 9 miles per lap. I would refer to the rules page here to get a estimate. You can also email the organizer for more info. rockbridgerunner@gmail.com

I the course marked yet? If not, when will the course be marked for a pre-ride? Is a map of the Cat 2/Old Cat1 men race loop available?

Hi Brian, I’m not the race director for Cameron Park and have no inside info for the race. I’m finding info the same way everyone else is. I would share if I knew more.
I’m tracking a competitor on Strava that pre-rode the course last weekend. 2 laps were 15 miles ( NOT pro/Cat 1) 1600′ elev ( Strava not usually completely accurate) over an hour per lap, not sure how hard they were pushing.
