Welcome to the USAC Texas State Championship one day race at Kerrville Schreiner Park in Kerrville TX! We’re excited to host a fun filled mountain biking weekend presented by Hill Country Bicycle Works and Kerrville Schreiner Park. Located on the banks of the Guadalupe River and a main trailhead for the River Trail, Kerrville Schreiner Park offers up all kinds of activities for the entire family. This race course can be followed along the paved Park Road so a spectator can see their racer numerous times following the spectator viewing route with a bike. The Trailhead Beer Garden, that can be accessed by the River Trail right from the Park, has live music and food trucks Thursday- Sunday. And if you’re coming to camp, the park has blocked all of the campsites on the trailside for the festival participants. So make your bookings, sign up to race and come out to Kerrville for a great time!!

$10 Late charge added to adult race categories on Friday October 27 at 7pm
$10 Last Minute fee added to adult and junior categories on Saturday October 28 at 7 pm
You can register for Sunday’s cross country event online up to 30 minutes before your category start time on BikeReg.
For Saturday’s festival events, registration will be allowed onsite no penalties. Signup for the free Kids Cup and 1st Time Racers clinic will be onsite only.
Races are sanctioned by USA Cycling.

- One-day licenses are $15 for category 3 (Beginner One-Day) and $35 for Pro, Cat 1 and Cat 2 (Experienced One-Day). Experienced One-Day must be purchased online through USA Cycling only

Kerrville Schreiner Park on Trailforks
The trail can be ridden in either direction. For 2023 the race course will go in a clockwise direction. The course will be marked starting the late afternoon of October 8.
Pre-Ride Information:
The trails will be open for pre-riding every day Sunrise to Sunset
Saturday October 28, 2023- The XC course will be open except for the delays on small sections of trail during these following events:
3:00 pm- 4:00 pm: Adult/ Junior Team Time Trail – Deerfield Loop. Racers will have the right of way over Pre-riders.
5:30 pm-6 pm– Unicycle Crit- Curley Fries. Racers will have the right of way over Pre-riders.
Are you joining us?
On October 28th, 2023, women will come together for the first time to pre-ride as a community the Orange Seal Kerrville Mountain Bike 5th and Final TMBRA Fall Cup Racecourse. Together we can build a stronger MTB community in Texas while uplifting and empowering each other.
In our first edition, Women Empowerment Cycling Texas, will be hosting the ride and the social meet afterward.
We will ride 1 lap of the course together, learning the route and working on skills to have a great race on Sunday!
Whether you’re a first-time rider or a returning one, this is all about celebrating women in MTB and going the distance together. ALL CATs are welcome!

Helllo, could you tell us a bit more about the Team Time trial event on Saturday? How many riders need to participate? How many laps each? Realy, any details since nothing is mentioned other then the fact that there is a TTT.
Hi Mario, hope your hand is healing well. Team time trial is meant for 2 riders riding together. It’s raced on the kids course so it’s about 5 miles or so. Lot of people do it with their kiddos.
Dave, thanks for the info. Is it both of the riders on the course at the same time or one does one lap and then another rider does another lap? Hand is healing but now I found issue with my MTB rear suspenison linkage (cracked) so I cannot ride on the trails right now, just as I started to get back into dirt.

Hi Mario: The Adult/ Junior Team Time Trial is a team event. You race with your kid, or two brothers, niece or nephew, any combo. You race as a team on a 2 mile course, clock stops when both team members cross the line. Age is based on the youngest rider:
From the webpage: Adult/Junior teams race against the clock over a 2 mile course. Teams are made up of at least one junior rider with a parent, older sibling or friend. Classes are determined by the age of the youngest rider. Clock stops when both teammates cross the line- Don’t drop your teammate!!
Classes: Boys & Girls 8 & under; Boys & Girls 10 & under; Boys & Girls 14 & under; Boys & Girls 18 & under. All classes will race on a 2 mile course. Registration closes at 2:00 PM Saturday October 28. Race starts at 3:00 PM.- $20 entry fee
Hey, it’s me again. Question about the time trial on Saturday and USAC license. Are the participants of the TT, both adult and junior, have to have the USAC license for Saturday?
No USAC license needed for Saturday events
Do we need to call the park to book rv spots?

Yet another license question. Do U12 and U10 kids need USAC license on Sunday for their races?
Hi Mario, yes all racers need a license on Sunday. If you would like to purchase a yearly license you can use code: TEXASMTB2023 for a $25 discount. That brings the price for a JR license down to $15 and is good for one year. No Licenses required for anything happening on Saturday. Same goes for the race in Harlingen.
Hi, are the CAT3 adult races on Sunday consider NOT Championship races? Bikereg page sure makes it seem that way as everything else is tagged as “Championship Category”, except for CAT3 11-60+ yo. Asking for my wife 🙂
Hi Mario, correct. Cat 3 categories are not eligible for State Championship designation.
