Welcome to race registration for the 2022 Rose City Cross-Country MTB race p/b Simpson’s Sport in Tyler, TX. The event is the final round of the Fall Texas Mountain Bike Racing Association (TMBRA) Texas Cup Mountain Bike Race Series. The second annual event will be held at the Faulkner Park MTB Trails (410 W. Cumberland Rd, Tyler, TX 75703) on the southern edge of the city of Tyler (note: this event will not be held at Tyler State Park or Lyndsey Park where the 2021 race was held).

The trail system at Tyler’s multi-use Faulker Park has approximately 9+ miles of trails designed and mainted by the Tyler Bicycle Club. The 13+ race loop is approximately 6 miles and utilizes different parts of the stacked trail system with portions riding BACKWARDS from normal course direction (ie. no hometown advantages!). Don’t be fooled by the numbers as the track rides fast and is a ton of fun (26-35 min lap times expected)! The multi-lap race format is designed to be specator friendly and provide a unique and challenging race experience for participants.

Due to the event being held within a city park there are no formal tent camping or RV hookups available. However, Tyler Bicycle Club has secured a special room rate at the Holiday Inn Tyler – Conference Center a few short miles from the race venue. Also, there are several housing options (RV, camping and hotels) near the trails and many unique, local restaurants and watering holes where you and your team can share battle stories.

Don’t miss Faulktoberfest 2022 Saturday, October 29th starting at NOON at the Faulkner MTB Trails. Tyler Bicycle Club (TBC) is hosting a day of fun activities as well as a cook-out to commerate the opening of the new jumpline section, Shoot to Thrill. We will be hosting a unique fundraiser time trial Saturday afternoon starting at 3PM. You won’t want to miss it as who will be crowned the fastest male/female of Faulkner? (registration details inline during race registration).

Registration is ONLINE ONLY! This registration platform is available via web browser or mobile device through 11:45AM Sunday, Oct. 30th. There will be absolutely NO in-person dictation or handwritten release/registration forms available at the race venue.

Tiered registration pricing will be used based on the below fee schedule. Start the registration process by selecting Single Registration or Group Registration (for participants residing at the same address -or- registering the same participant for multiple race categories). The folks in Tyler seem to be doing a good job at promoting this event. It would be nice to be able to register for it. We’re basically a week away.
