Merry Christmas and happy holidays from everyone at TMBRA. As we take a break from races and celebrate with our family, I figured it would be a good time for news and announcements.
Registration is open: https://my.raceresult.com/270386/ for our big return to the Big Bend region with the first annual Marfa Marathon! It’s an entire weekend of bike fun, with hill climb challenges, short track racing and of course the Marfa Marathon . The course is a clover leaf shape in the rugged Chinati Mountains south of Marfa at the Cibolo Creek Ranch . There is discounted registration thru Dec 23rd. The ranch has a limited number of high end hotel rooms available. Visit website/call for details/room block. 432-729-6654. Camping and RV (no hookups) available at ranch. Sign up for camping/RV spots at the registration link. There are showers available, (no hot water) for camping. For sale food vendor/caterer will be on site. Help us celebrate our return to Big Bend. Registration will be opening soon for our last two races of our Marathon series . The Excruciation Exam at Bluff Creek Ranch on January 13th and The Miles of Discomfort at Flat Rock Ranch on January 27th. We will be handing out overall series awards and top 5 T-shirts at the Comfort race. You must attend to get your overall award or have a friend pick it up for you. We will not mail awards if you did not attend .
Number plates for next spring season will go on sale on Friday December 22nd at 9AM.
Pricing is as follows:
$25 – Custom plate (pick your name and number and get a digital duplicate plate)
$20 – Custom Number (first come first served so order at 9am!)
$15 – Next available number ($3 add on for a digital duplicate / back up plate)
NEW PLATES WILL GO INTO EFFECT AT THE FIRST RACE ON OUR SPRING SERIES (Paris Texas Feb 11th) Your current 23/24 plate is good to use at all remaining marathon races on the calendar.

Spring series teaser: 
This year we are excited to bring back (by popular demand) our team competition. We will have more info and details following our Jan 29th board meeting, but expect it to be very similar to years past. Team NWCC, do ya’ll know what happened to the traveling trophy?
